Oxnard is also home to the U.S. Navy's Seabees. Most of the largest industries in the area are the military, agriculture, health insurance, electronics, and electronic media duplicating. Average, rainfall totals 15.6 inches each year. The temperatures above 90 degrees F occur on only about 3 days per year. The August average daily high is a 74 degrees F while the average is low in that month is 6o degrees. In January in Oxnard the temperature averages 66 degrees F for a daily high and 46 for a daily low.
